New VA: ‘Vándor’ is out now on all major platforms

After our deep dive into the concept of tribe (Törzs), techlab.bp returns with another thematic odyssey: this time exploring the essence of deserts. Vándor, our latest Various Artists compilation, takes its name from the Hungarian word for wanderer, evoking the image of an untamed traveler moving through desolate landscapes.

„(…) a force both hypnotic and unyielding. Its pulse shimmers like heat waves on the horizon, dry and relentless, drawing you into a sweltering trance. A journey through barren landscapes, where heat, sound, and time blur into motion.”

The album assembles a diverse group of artists, each contributing a fragment to this sun-scorched expedition. Artists like Innerworld, AYIM, Khey Mysterio, Solarythm, and more bring their own vision of the Vándor spirit, whether through ethereal desert mirages, intricate polyrhythms, or resonant echoes of distant civilizations.

As always, we symbolize the theme of the VA with a single color. This time, it’s Amber (#FFBF00), like desert sand, emphasizing warmth and rhythm, reflecting the album’s vast, hypnotic landscapes. Mastered by Gergő Sólyom (slym) and featuring artwork by Oliver Szerdahelyi (szoliver), Vándor is more than a compilation, it’s a mapless voyage through expansive frontiers.
